โI almost didnโt sign up when I learned it was digital tutoring. I just assumed online sessions wouldnโt hold my sonโs attention. But then I realized the SAT itself is fully digital now, taken on a laptop, and that he actually needed practice using the built-in calculator, formulas, and test tools in the same environment heโd use on test day.
What surprised me most was how engaged he was. We had summer travel plans, sports, and a packed schedule, so the flexibility mattered, but the structure is what really made it work.
โI kept looking at the cost and thinking, โ$150 a week adds up fast.โ My husband kept saying, โSheโs smart. She just needs to study harder.โ But that logic stopped making sense to me when I looked at her first SAT score. She had already been studying on her own. She had already used Khan Academy. And despite putting in effort, her score was still too low.
What I realized is that โstudying hardโ for the SAT is completely different than casually reviewing material here and there. She ended up putting in probably 80 to 100 hours of focused prep, way more than she ever wouldโve done by herself, because there were live sessions, assignments, deadlines, and someone actually tracking her progress.
That effort paid off on test day, and now she has multiple college acceptances and scholarship offers that honestly help offset the entire cost of the program.โ
